Valter Nilsson is returning to Stockholm to round off an extraordinary year.

Last year, not many people knew who Valter Nilsson was, but little by little, Stockholm audiences got to experience him—from Mosebacke in August, via Jungfrukällan in September, to Fasching in November. Now, following his rapidly sold-out shows at Trädgården this summer, he has become something of a household name.

His debut album, Bland de gyllene och de allmänt brända, released in spring 2025, launched a meteoric career and led to a Grammis nomination and sold-out shows. In November 2025, GP ran the provocative quote “sell your children for a ticket,” which sums up what Valter Nilsson and his band Stigberget deliver live. It’s easier to draw comparisons to Bruce Springsteen than to anyone from Sweden.

This spring saw the release of his latest album, Högsbo Riviera, followed by countless interviews, TV appearances and spectacular concerts. A lightning-fast sell-out at Bananpiren, where he performed in front of 12,000 people, perfectly captures the unique journey this artist is on.

On December 4, he returns to Stockholm and Fållan to cap off the biggest year of his life so far.

“This year has exceeded everything I could have dreamed of. Getting to meet audiences all around the country, becoming a father and being nominated for a Grammis all feels completely surreal. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who is part of this journey,” says Valter.
