Sara Parkman gives her biggest performance yet

After a sold-out autumn tour in churches around the Nordic countries, it is finally time for Sara Parkman to present her biggest performance to date. On May 9, she takes over Fållan in Stockholm, ready to let her famously powerful expression fill the space and to share new music that will be released during the spring.

Since her debut in 2016, Sara Parkman has pushed the boundaries of what folk music is allowed to be and has become a clear figurehead in the wave of new, burning interest in the genre that has grown ever stronger in recent years. With acclaimed albums – including the groundbreaking Eros Agape Philia (2022) – and a Grammy to her name, she has cemented her place as one of Scandinavia’s most exciting voices.

Parkman has repeatedly been praised for her ability to weave together tradition and the contemporary into an all-encompassing present – not least through her concerts.

Now Sara Parkman steps into 2026 with something entirely new. This year’s work on new music culminates in something both challenging and exploratory, expressive and intense, and on May 9 at Fållan, the audience will experience the next chapter.
