Pascal recently celebrated 20 years as a band and are currently riding high with their acclaimed album Tänker på dig jämt (Thinking of You All the Time). The record has been described as the band’s most uncompromising release to date — an intense and brilliant display of desperate, noisy and nerve-rattling rock music, driven by more frustration than ever before.

Since their debut, Pascal have released seven studio albums and established themselves as one of Sweden’s most uncompromising and distinctive rock bands. Just over a year after two sold-out shows at Debaser, Pascal return to Stockholm for their first-ever show at Fållan. This will be the band’s biggest show in Stockholm to date.

Support: The Barbwires

In a country where Hawaii long meant little more than canned pineapple on pizza, and surfing was something you did with a sail, The Barbwires dreamed their way to a coastline of their very own.

For three decades, they have cultivated their distinctive Baltic surf sound — equal parts dream and reality, inspired by the rugged rocky shores of Torö, south of Stockholm.

Since the beginning, the band has consisted of Mike Barbwire, Kalle Fornia and Xota Ere (J.R.).

Perhaps it’s their shared love of the cold, dark waves that brings the bands together. Either way, they clearly clicked, and after The Barbwires and Pascal played together at Gröna Lund last summer, the feeling was mutual: both bands wanted to do it again.

On April 9, it happens at Fållan.
