Mästerbotten Blockparty returns to Stockholm on June 27!

It started as a party for the city they come from. A place where friends gathered to play music, eat palt, skate, and just be together. Today, Mästerbotten has grown into something bigger–but the heart remains the same. Mästerbotten is not a traditional festival. It’s a living place. On June 27, Random Bastards return to Fållan in Stockholm for the third year in a row, with their own block party where a piece of Västerbotten takes root in Distriktfem, Slakthusområdet.

From 15:00, the courtyard opens with a merch market, skate session, DJs, sauna, and food. People gather in small clusters that slowly grow into something bigger. While the sauna steams and the food simmers, the skate competition kicks off – and almost imperceptibly, the day transitions into live music. Everything happens up close. Nothing is separated. This is hip-hop as a culture, not just music. A collective carrying its place, its language, and its relationships onto the stage.

Mästerbotten is the northern Swedish collective Random Bastards’ own block party, which has taken many different forms over the years. The event was held in Umeå for three years and, since 2023, has been a success in Stockholm with sold-out venues.

Mästerbotten marks the finale of Random Bastards’ annual “Storspov Month”– a period during which the collective releases music, merch, and video content in sync with the bird’s return to Västerbotten.

It’s a way to tie the year together. And start again.
