Magdalena Bay is a duo consisting of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin.
‍
The two connected through shared musical influences and eventually started the prog rock band Tabula Rasa. That band eventually split up, but it laid the foundation for what would become Magdalena Bay. When their paths crossed again during college, they reunited with the goal of creating something closer to pop music, blending both retro and futuristic elements.

Their debut album Mercurial World was released in 2021 and firmly put the duo on the map, but real success came with last year’s Imaginal Disk, which was one of the most acclaimed releases of the year.

With that momentum, the duo will take the stage at Fållan in Stockholm on February 26 next year.
