James Marriott is coming to Sweden next spring with his new album Warning Signs under his belt. In just a few years, the British artist has gone from an internet breakthrough to establishing himself as a major indie artist with a rapidly growing international audience. Now he is taking the next step — with a new album and a world tour that will bring him to Sweden on May 3 at Fållan in Stockholm.

With his blend of big guitars, melodic indie, and pop, Marriott has developed a sound of his own, which he describes as “anti-pop.” The Swiss-British artist began his career by building a large following online, quickly developing a dedicated fanbase. In 2020, Marriott took his first major step forward with the release of his debut single “Slow Down,” followed by his debut album Are We There Yet? in 2023.

Since his debut, his career has moved rapidly forward. His follow-up album, Don’t Tell The Dog, became his first UK number-one album, topping the British album chart in 2025. Marriott has since toured internationally and performed at festivals including Reading & Leeds, Lollapalooza, and Electric Picnic. Last week, he also played his biggest headline show to date at the sold-out O2 Academy Brixton in London.

On January 15, 2027, Warning Signs, Marriott’s third full-length album, will be released. Across its eleven tracks, the album moves between desire, obsession, and heartbreak, as gritty guitars meet big pop melodies and more club-oriented production. The first single, “Burn Down The Disco,” offers a clear taste of this new direction — and next spring, James Marriott will take Warning Signs around the world, with Sweden’s turn coming on May 3 at Fållan in Stockholm.
