Getdown Services consists of Josh Law and Ben Sadler, two friends who met at school in Minehead and who, over the past few years, have enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame thanks to their distinctive and uninhibited blend of disco, hard rock and weird pop. Their debut album, Crisps, now considered a cult classic, was released to widespread acclaim from the underground scene in November 2023 via Breakfast Records. This was followed by two EPs (Your Medal’s In The Post / Primordial Slot Machine), as well as two collections of B-sides and rarities (Crumbs and Crumbs 2).

It is, however, their recently released second album, Massive Champion, that has truly cemented the duo’s position as rising stars on the British music scene. The album is a celebration of their childhood and the British cultural phenomena that shaped it, and is a perfect distillation of their explosive live performances. All thirteen tracks bristle with the same boundless energy and subversive humour that allows them to completely take over every stage they step onto.

With more headline tours planned for 2026 and beyond, Getdown Services have not only proven themselves to be a live act that simply cannot be missed, but also two of the sharpest songwriters working today.

In spring 2027, Getdown Services will come to Sweden for two shows – at Pustervik in Gothenburg on 8 March and at Fållan in Stockholm on 11 March.
