Small bags allowed – up to the size of an A4
His breakthrough came with his debut album Müptezhel, which became a phenomenon in Turkey. On the record, Ezhel weaves rap together with reggae and trap elements, delivering lyrics that are both raw and sharp – addressing themes such as city life, social issues, and the realities of young people. Songs like “Şehrimin Tadı” and “Geceler” gave voice to a generation’s frustrations and dreams, making Ezhel a clear spokesperson for Turkish youth.
At the same time, his career has been marked by controversy and legal challenges – including arrests linked to interpretations of his lyrics – something that ultimately strengthened his position. Ezhel came to symbolize resistance and freedom of expression, and has continued to use music as a tool for both storytelling and social commentary.
Through collaborations with international artists such as Aitch, Luciano, Gentleman, and Ufo361, Ezhel has also expanded his reach far beyond Turkey’s borders. Today, he continues to push the boundaries of modern rap and build bridges between scenes, languages, and genres – with the same uncompromising intensity that has made him a pioneer in his field.
