Moataz Rageb, also known as Disco Arabesquo, is a renowned DJ and avid collector of Arabic cassettes, CD’s & vinyl records. His signature "Disco Arabesquo Night" parties have been causing mayhem in Amsterdam's club scene and other cities across Europe and the Middle East, drawing in crowds from all over the world for the party’s consecutively sold-out editions. With an energetic & inclusive atmosphere and unique blend the ‘Disco Arabesquo Nights’ showcase the richness and diversity of Arab music.

 Next to his events, he has also put out the vinyl reissues of ‘Nagat el Saghira - Eyoun el alb’, ‘Maha - Orkos’ & the compilation of ‘Sharayet el disco’ & ‘Ayam el disco’ in collaboration with various labels. The latter was celebrated as one of the best reissues of 2022 by amongst others Juno records & Vinyl Factory. 

DJ Disco Arabesquo is celebrated for his distinctive club edits of Arabic sounds from the 1990s and 2000s, originating from the Middle East (South-West Asia) and North Africa. His mixes skillfully combine elements of club culture and traditional Arabic melodies and rhythms, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and contemporary.
