Grammy-nominated Cory Wong brings “The Fretboard Odyssey” to Stockholm in December
Grammy-nominated guitarist, composer, and producer Cory Wong will come to Stockholm for a highly anticipated performance at Fållan on December 17.
Cory Wong has become known around the world for his infectious joy of playing, razor-sharp funk grooves, and genre-crossing collaborations. With a unique combination of jazz’s technical precision and the energy of funk, pop, and soul, he has established himself as one of today’s most dynamic and acclaimed live performers.
The Minneapolis-born musician achieved his international breakthrough through the funk collective Vulfpeck, where his rhythmic guitar playing and charismatic stage presence became a central part of the band’s distinctive sound. Since then, he has built a successful solo career with an impressive and diverse album catalog.
Now he is coming to Stockholm with “The Fretboard Odyssey” tour. It will be a major live production featuring specially invited guest artists Mark Lettieri (guitar), Ariel Posen (guitar), Henrik Linder (bass), Kevin Gastonguay (keyboard), and Louis Cato (drums). Audiences can expect more than just a concert — it will be a celebration of musicianship and guitar-driven live music.
