Arkad Furniture Festival

Arkad is a curated independent design festival, initiated and operated by architects from several Stockholm based offices. The festival is built around a simple format for meeting, experiencing, and exploring design in the Swedish late summer warmth . It is open to everyone in the creative industry. Here, architects, students, producers, interior suppliers and designers, buyers, procurement professionals, end customers and more come together in a dynamic space we consider ideal for people to meet, right in the middle of Slakthusområdet in Stockholm.

" We call it a furniture festival because to us, design is about more than displaying objects. It’s about meetings, exchanges, and sharing experiences with people. Forming relationships and creating real value for both exhibitors and visitors.

Our vision is for the festival to function as a collective living room - not a pass-through space. A place where visitors stay, connect, relax and experience things in an enjoyable setting. "
