Altin Gün to Release New Album ‘Garip’ in Spring 2026

Marking the next chapter in the band’s unique folk-rock-psychedelic journey, Garip is a nod to the Anatolian folk-rock of the 1970s and a tribute to Turkish folk legend Neşet Ertaş.

On their new album, Altin Gün turn down the synths and let live instruments, vintage gear, and spontaneous interplay take center stage in the soundscape. Each track is a reinterpretation of classic Turkish folk songs – filtered through the band’s distinctive blend of psychedelic rock, funk, and groovy pop.

The result is hypnotic, danceable, and full of playful energy, with influences ranging from space rock and prog-folk to 70s rock.

With their new album in tow, Altin Gün will return to Sweden in 2026. Their last show was sold out – don’t miss your chance to see them live in Stockholm at Fållan on March 26.
